Sorry for not using the Bug tracker, I don't want to register on sourceforge solely for such reports.

HyperRipper problems:
  1. dup540a, dup551beta (5.5.1.226 hereinafter): JPEG file will be extracted incorrectly if it has more than one JFIF blocks inside (if there is an Exif thumbnail in JFIF format, for example). Parts of a file will be extracted as separate JPEGs, whole file will not be extracted. Tested on about 250 files.
  2. dup551beta: I tried to make a file which contains 2 copies of same JPEG file back to back (append on copy). Dup540a found 2 copies correctly, dup551beta found just the first one. JPEG was simple, with only one JFIF. Later: tried to open this JPEG alone, dup551beta didn't detected it, dup540a did.
  3. dup551beta: same as the above, but now it was an MP3 file without ID3 tag. Dup540a: found 1 file, 2 copies merged (see below). Dup551beta: hung with high CPU usage. File alone: same behavior, dup540a: detect, dup551beta: hung.
  4. dup540a: if several MP3 files without ID3 tags are stored back to back (0 bytes between), dup540a will extract them as one big MP3 merged file. Tested on about 15 files.

I know about problems 1, 2 and 3. I will try to fix it for next beta. Thanks for reporting anyway. :)

There are no problem 4. MP3 files uses frames of a few bytes, if MP3 files are merged together with nothing in between 'like ID3 tags) there are no way to know where to stop for each "file" with the HyperRipper.
